Applications for UAB Health System & UAB Hospital Campuses
If you would like to check your application status for jobs at UAB Health System or UAB Hospital campuses, you will need to create an account before you apply. If you applied to a job before our new website launched on Nov. 4, 2025, please refer to the last email you received for your application status. If you are selected for an interview, a hiring manager will reach out to you directly. You will continue to receive emails with any updates about your application status.

If you applied on the new website on or after Nov. 4 and need to update your application, sign in to access your profile page and then upload a new resume in the Profile Information section. Note: completing this step will automatically update your application information. If you have any other questions or need to notify Talent Acquisition of any changes, email askhr@uabmc.edu.

Application Status
While the application status may vary across the platforms noted above, this list is a general overview of the various application, interviewing, and offer statues for UAB Medicine.

• Under Review: HR is reviewing your application.
• Hiring Manager Review: Your application has been screened by HR and sent to a hiring manager for review.
• Interview: You have been selected for a virtual or in-person interview by a hiring manager.
• Offer: You have been selected as the final candidate by the hiring manager and will receive contingent job offer from HR.
• Onboarding: You have accepted a contingent job offer and are actively in the onboarding process with HR.
• Hired: You have met all pre-employment requirements, been cleared by HR, and started at UAB Medicine.
• Not selected: You have not been selected and are no longer under consideration for a role.
• Withdrew: You voluntarily withdrew your application from consideration or you communicated that you are no longer interested in a role. (This status is automatically applied to any other active applications when you accept a benefits-eligible position within the organization and you have been placed in “hired” status.)
