Applications for UAB Health System, UAB Hospital facilities, & UA Health Services Foundation staff positions
If you would like to check your application status for jobs at UAB Health System, UAB Hospital facilities, or for UA Health Services Foundation staff positions, click the Login button at the top of the page to receive a one-time code to login before you apply. If you have already applied, follow the same process and enter the email address you used when applying.
If you applied to a job before our new website launched on Nov. 4, 2025, please refer to the last email you received for your application status. If you are selected for an interview, a hiring manager will reach out to you directly. You will continue to receive emails with any updates about your application status.
If you applied on the new website on or after Nov. 4, 2025, and need to update your application, follow the same process noted above to access your profile, and then upload a new resume under the Resume tab in the Profile Information section. You can also upload a cover letter by including it in the same file with your resume. Please note that completing this step will automatically add the new resume to your candidate profile.
Once logged in to your profile, you can view your applications and saved jobs, sign up for job alerts, edit your contact information and job preferences, and upload a new resume and cover letter.

Application Status
While the application status may vary across the platforms noted above, this list is a general overview of the various application, interviewing, and offer statues for UAB Medicine.
- Under Review: HR is reviewing your application.
- Hiring Manager Review: Your application has been screened by HR and sent to a hiring manager for review.
- Interview: You have been selected for a virtual or in-person interview by a hiring manager.
- Offer: You have been selected as the final candidate by the hiring manager and will receive contingent job offer from HR.
- Onboarding: You have accepted a contingent job offer and are actively in the onboarding process with HR.
- Hired: You have met all pre-employment requirements, been cleared by HR, and started at UAB Medicine.
- Not selected: You have not been selected and are no longer under consideration for a role.
- Withdrew: You voluntarily withdrew your application from consideration or you communicated that you are no longer interested in a role. (This status is automatically applied to any other active applications when you accept a benefits-eligible position within the organization and you have been placed in “hired” status.)
